Honestly--part of that lately has been people anxious over football season coming up. Most people on here have a strong allegiance, whether it be HS, College, or Pro to a team and cannot wait for the season to start...and are extremely anxious to get it going.

Politics,religion,and abortion=3 subjects to approach if you are bored and just need to argue. It matters not the political party,as either way you had best stock up on Vaseline. Nobody gives a rat's rectum about the working folk. To get all pumped up and off the wall over rich cats who live in mansions on the hill makes me laugh (just like they would be if they could see you way down here)

The ONLY smart thing I ever heard come out of Lee Corso's mouth was during a Thursday night game broadcast about 3-4 years ago. He said that his father told him to never discuss 3 things--politics, religion, and pass defense. Everyone has their own convictions on all 3, and you'll rarely change anyone's mind.
